Shayla Akhtar sumi , student of CSE, BRUR stood 2nd Runner-up position at Social Business Youth Summit-2017 (SBYS). She was team Member of the Team LLC. Meanwhile, champion was a Malaysian Team Fightcare and 1st Runner-up was a Indonesian Team Passo.com
The two-day Social Business Youth Summit-2017 with the theme ‘ignite the entrepreneur within’ ended at a Dhaka hotel on Monday, July 31st 2017.The summit, arranged by Social Business Youth Alliance Global, aimed at creating next generation social business leaders and building a bridge between youth and social business. More than 400 youths participated in the summit.
U.S. ambassador to Bangladesh Marcia Bernicat, Norway ambassador Sidsel Bleken, Grameen Telecom Trust managing director Parveen Mahmud, Yunus Centre executive director Lamiya Morshed and SBYA Global president Shazeeb M Khairul Islam, among others, spoke at different sessions of the summit.
