The Department is trying to facilitate and disseminate the knowledge of politics to the students from the dawn. The study of politics trains students to apply concepts and theories to the real-world problems, to synthesize disparate and complex ideas, to communicate in a variety of forms and to debate ideas passionately and respectfully. To acquaint students with the global knowledge and enhance their capability, the Department organizes different seminars and debates on recent and contemporary national and international issues. The Department is committed that students as such obtain a useful educational background for job opportunities in government organizations, NGOs, research positions, educational institutions, political and civic bodies as well as media.
